I am an experienced GP, with a special interest in Mental Health, & I provide therapy. I enjoy the whole range of Family Medicine and I love caring for people at all ages and stages of life.
I have extra qualifications in “Focused Psychological Strategies” and Community Child Health. I have extensive experience in Mental Health, Paediatrics, Youth, Women’s Health, and Pregnancy and Breast feeding. I have also worked in Palliative Care, giving me experience in pain management and a holistic approach to health.
I provide individualised evidence-based therapy where appropriate. I am accredited with Medicare, giving patients access to 10 mental health rebates per calendar year, as if they were seeing a psychologist or other mental health provider.
‘Therapy and Adjustment to Parenting’ clinics on Tuesday & Friday (can only be booked by calling the practice) 45-minute appts
Monday & Thursday general appointments can be booked online, please choose “short” 15 mins for just one simple issue, or “long” 30 mins for more or complex issues.
In my spare time I swim, do yoga and go camping. I love the Australian bush, and I especially love bird watching and volunteering to monitor small marsupials. I strongly believe in a healthy work-life balance to prevent burn out, and to enable myself to work for as long as possible.

I have “essential tremor” and refer to other doctors / nursing staff for all procedures, needles, dressings etc.
Note: “Essential tremor” is a nervous system condition, also known as a neurological condition. It causes rhythmic shaking that you can’t control. Essential tremor can affect almost any part of the body, but the trembling happens most often in the hands.
