I live in the local area with my wonderful wife and two amazing children. I am interested in music, travel, martial arts and have been known to occasionally spoil a nice walk on the golf course.
In my life before medicine, I completed a degree in Sports Science and worked at Concord Hospital, Sydney, in the Respiratory Function Unit. I soon realised the doctors were having all the fun so I applied to study medicine at UWA.
Since graduating from UWA in 2007, I completed my internship at Royal Perth Hospital and then worked around Perth in a variety of specialties at St John of God Hospital, Hollywood Private Hospital and Joondalup Health Campus. Following GP training and Fellowship, I have completed a Diploma in Dermatology and Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine. I am particularly interested in skin disease and perform comprehensive skin checks and minor skin procedures daily.
At Third Avenue Surgery, we provide travel consultations and vaccinations. I would like to hear all about your future travel plans and help minimise your risk of health problems whilst abroad.
I enjoy all aspects of General Practice including preventative health care, sexual health and contraception – including Implanon insertion and removal, and chronic disease management. I provide a relaxed, collegial approach to health care where we work together to optimise your health.
